If the program has a performance or care requirement, include it in the initial brief so unsuitable options can be removed early.

A material name does not describe fit, measurements, trims, colour fastness, finishing or how the garment behaves after care. Use a sample or written specification to review the complete requirement.

For uniforms and repeat programs, document the approved reference so later orders can be compared against the same basis.

Material, construction, order quantity, customization and testing requirements can affect MOQ, pricing and lead time. Compare quotations only when they refer to equivalent specifications.

Ask what will be confirmed before order acceptance and what will be confirmed at sample stage. This reduces ambiguous expectations for both buyer and supplier.
